Five Corners voted into The Advocacy Group (TAG) as exclusive grassroots firm
June 16th was an exciting day for us here at Five Corners Strategies. That’s the day The Advocacy Group (TAG) Board of Directors voted Five Corners in as a TAG member and as the exclusive grassroots firm of record. We are excited about new services and support we’ll be able to offer our clients through our work with the TAG. We are also looking forward to helping the TAG membership provide winning grassroots campaigns for their clients.
TAG is recognized as one of the premier municipal, state, federal and international government and public affairs organizations in the world and our recent membership is a huge vote of confidence in the grassroots work we perform across the United States. To perhaps put how big of a deal this is into perspective, let me tell you a little bit about TAG.
The TAG network consists of the elite lobbyists, communicators and public affairs professionals from each of the 50 states and several countries around the globe. Five Corners Strategies already has the capability of organizing grassroots campaigns in all 50 states for legislative advocacy, political campaigns and land-use issues. Joining TAG’s network of the nation’s top lobbyist adds another layer of service and reach to our grassroots capabilities.
Since 1992, TAG firms have been solving public policy challenges for businesses, trade associations and not-for-profit organizations. Its members develop carefully tailored strategies and solutions for their clients and then shepherd them through often daunting political, legislative and regulatory arenas. TAG is essentially a one-stop, result-oriented network for clients with needs in multiple jurisdictions, including the highly specialized grassroots work we do at Five Corners Strategies. We are very proud that TAG has recognized our outstanding record of mobilizing grassroots support for our clients’ interests.
Since forming Five Corners Strategies almost four years ago, our number one emphasis has been on meeting and exceeding our client’s goals. While we prefer to let our results and winning percentage speak for itself, it’s an amazing honor to be recognized for our work by an organization as prestigious as TAG. What’s also nice is how excited TAG is to bring Five Corners Strategies in as a member of their organization. After their board meeting where they voted us in, I received a really nice note from Leif Johnson, TAG’s Managing Director. I know he wont’ mind me sharing it here.

Over the years, we have lent our expertise to a wide variety of clients, spanning from real Estate development and energy issues to healthcare and ballot initiatives. Many of our clients deal with very sensitive public issues, they rely on Five Corners to build an army of support while also maintaining an accurate and fair representation of their company, their industry and their individual project proposals. And more often than not, we are behind the scenes, letting our clients shine. Most “outsiders” will never have heard of us, but that’s part of our job. We are NOT the stars of the show. Our clients are. But once in a great while it’s nice to be publicly recognized for all the hours we’ve put in on behalf of others. So thank you, TAG, for this wonderful honor.
